Ashford Academy participates in the AISA Athletic Program.  Our Athletic Department offers Pee Wee cheerleading and football;
Junior Varsity cheerleading, football, and basketball; and Varsity cheerleading, football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball and golf.
Additional sports could be added as needed.

INITIAL ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to participate in any AISA interscholastic event the first term of school, the student/athlete must have completed five full units of credit the previous school year.  To maintain eligibility or become eligible for participation in any second semester sports event, the student/athlete must complete two full units of credit the first semester of that same school year.

GRADE REQUIREMENTS
Believing that it is of the utmost importance to maintain a healthy academic/athletic balance, Ashford Academy requires its students/athletes/cheerleaders to maintain an OVERALL ACADEMIC AVERAGE OF "C" (70) during the academic progress of each nine weeks grading period.  If the student/athlete/cheerleader does not meet the grade requirements, a probationary period of three weeks will be imposed.  During such time the student/athlete/cheerleader will be allowed to continue participation.  At the end of the probationary period, if the student/athlete/cheerleader has not pulled his/her grade up to the satisfactory level, the student/athlete/cheerleader will be considered ineligible to participate in any sports event until his/her grades are brought up to standard.
