Works with school administrator regarding oversight of academic programs, curricula, and performance standards; and with school administrator and faculty to develop, maintain, and administer appropriate admission requirements and entrance examination.

Administer academic scholarship program in conjunction with school administrator, and provides recommendations to entire Board.

Works with school administrator in evaluating performance of faculty and staff, and in providing recommendations to the entire Board regarding the hiring, retention, and dismissal of faculty and staff.

Provides annual exit review to document concerns, ideas, and problems as related by all faculty and staff.

Serve as Board/Athletic Association liaison; and Athletic Director/Board liaison.

Provide budget review and oversight for athletic programs.

Mediate problems among athletic staff, players, and parents in conjunction with principal school administer.

Administer athletic scholarships in conjunction with school administrator and Athletic Director, and financial obligations to scholarship parents.

Charged with ensuring athletic codes, sportsmanship contracts, and related documentation are obtained on all student-athletes.

Participates in fact-finding regarding serious infractions of school policy and reports information to the Board.

Works with school administrator to mediate disciplinary issues beyond the scope of current policy/actions and to maintain and develop discipline standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct.

Serve as point of contact for parents where school administrator's position on disciplinary issues are contested.

Presents proposed changes/revision to school discipline code (Code of Conduct) for Board review.

Provides oversight regarding the condition and maintenance of all school buildings/structures with the exception of athletic buildings/structures, and provides recommendations regarding maintenance, improvement, and maintenance contracts for school grounds and facilities.

Serves as a point of contact for faculty/staff regarding interior and exterior building repairs, renovations, and improvements.

Serves as a point of contact for faculty/staff regarding purchases, upgrades, and replacement of educational supplies and equipment.

Conduct regularly scheduled and special board meetings, general assemblies, parent forums, etc

Serve on and work with Finance Committee to provide adequate budget oversight and other fiduciary responsibilities.

Preserve by-law integrity and propose necessary amendments and revisions.

Develop annual budgets and provide budget oversight.

Provide budget information and accounting to the entire Board.

Oversee delinquent tuition accounts; administer hardship application and process.

Provides oversight regarding condition and maintenance of sports facilities.

Works with Athletic Association to assess needs relative to facilities improvement and maintenance, and in fund raising efforts.

Report status of facilities and funding needs to the Board as necessary.

Charged with coordinating field preparation schedule.

Provides oversight and guidance regarding school advertising activities.

Maintain timely informational brochures and other materials for prospective families.

Monitors school website to ensure quality and accuracys.

Represent the Board regarding any and all business in events where such intervention is necessary.

Serve in an executive capacity in the absence of the Executive Committee members.

Serve on the Discipline Committee in the absence of the Discipline Committee members.
